Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of Aether at aether.so, including the dashboard, APIs, and related services.

Effective date: August 1, 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account, connecting a social network, or using Aether (“Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Aether on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Questions: legal@aether.so.

2. The Service

Aether is a social media agent platform that enables scheduling and publishing, AI-assisted drafting and replies, media libraries and studio tools, campaign tracking links, CRM/lead capture, knowledge ingestion (including website crawl and document upload), competitor research reports, team workspaces under a company, and paid plan entitlements. Features available to you depend on your plan (including Free, Starter, Pro, and Agency tiers and add-ons).

3. Accounts, companies, and workspaces

You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure. Aether organizes tenants as a company with one or more workspaces. Account owners and members are responsible for activity under their company and workspaces, including invitations and role assignments (owner, admin, member).

You are responsible for maintaining control of your sign-in methods and connected devices.

4. Connected social accounts

You may connect Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, Telegram, and/or Reddit accounts. You authorize Aether to access those services within the permissions you grant, including publishing content and reading inbox-related data where enabled.

You represent that you have the right to connect each account and that content you publish complies with each platform’s terms and applicable law. Platforms may change APIs, revoke access, or suspend accounts; Aether is not responsible for platform outages or enforcement actions.

5. Your content and license

You retain ownership of content you submit (posts, media, knowledge sources, brand materials, CRM notes). You grant Aether a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you—including sending content to social platforms and AI providers you use through Aether.

You must not upload or publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content, or content that violates others’ rights.

6. AI features

AI features (compose, replies, planner, competitor/organization reports, and related search) are assisted outputs. They may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before publishing or relying on it. AI processing may be performed by third-party model providers under their terms.

7. Acceptable use

  • No spam, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or scraping that violates platform or law.
  • No attempts to bypass plan limits, security controls, or other customers’ data.
  • No malware, reverse engineering of the Service except where permitted by law.
  • No use of the Service for illegal advertising, fraud, or harassment.
  • Respect fair-use expectations for crawl, AI, and publish activity.

8. Plans, trials, and billing

Paid plans and add-ons are billed through our payment processor. Prices and entitlements are shown in-product. Free trials (where offered, such as a Pro trial) and free tiers may have limits. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated.

We may change pricing or plan features with notice; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted.

9. Aether intellectual property

The Service, branding, software, and documentation are owned by Aether or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Aether IP. You may not copy or redistribute the Service except as allowed through normal use of the product.

10. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party providers for authentication, payments, hosting, AI processing, and social networks. Their availability and policies are outside Aether’s full control. Links or integrations do not imply endorsement.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AETHER DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted publishing, perfect AI accuracy, or that social platforms will accept every post.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AETHER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO AETHER FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Aether against claims arising from your content, your connected accounts, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or law, or your violation of third-party (including platform) terms.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, non-payment, or legal reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Aether’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue, subject to applicable consumer rights.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with an updated effective date. Material changes may be communicated in-product or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
